Formed in May 2012 by F. Declercq, theRealMusic.net aims to provide a platform for smaller artists and bands to shine. Now with a team of eight writers, the site is growing constantly. We provide daily reviews of brilliant acts from all styles of music. All our reviews are positive, we look to promote what is good, and not dwell on the bad. We see ourselves as a site that recommends high quality music to music lovers around the globe.
We have also had the opportunity to review live performances, as well as interview a handful of artists. These features allow us to offer further insight to our readers.
As of yet, we have not made any money from this adventure, with everyone on the team providing the content through their love and passion of music. All donations are welcome and can be made by clicking the button at the bottom of the page. We are also open to advertising and you can forward your offers by clicking the contact button in the footbar.
If you would like to share your music with us, please feel free to contact us providing a bit of background, as well as a link we can hear your music from. As we only do positive reviews, we will only review the music we actually enjoy, all submissions will be shared with the team, but we cannot guarantee a review. Although we do not have a problem reviewing unsigned artists, we would appreciate EPs and albums to be of a reasonable recording standard.
